CodeIgniter.com - Report problems!

Hi, I've put a mirror of the userguide for the CI3 to my Gitlab Pages. You can find them in this url:

The user guide is retrieved from the "release" page from their CI3 GitHub section.

Thank you!

Everything should be up and running again on the site, the user guides, and the download links fixed.

Everything seems to back to normal except the download of "CodeIgniter 4 - Offline UG". Great work!

Oh, snap. Missed one. I'll check into that tonight. Thanks!

I am very curious to know how the problems were solved and would be very grateful for further details.

I'm not 100% sure they are solved. The website code had an inefficient use the GitHub API that was hitting more often than it needed and wasn't always caching it. The errors that were being thrown were because we were over the limit on our GitHub api calls. I few weeks ago I had refactored the code to be more efficient in it's usage. I added a try/catch block that was missing and pushed the new site up. That got it running.

Just got to thinking that it might have been tied to Jim's GitHub account and might need to be changed. Still investigating everything around it. And of course it happens when I'm slammed with everything else in my life too so it's moving a little slower than I'd like, but it's getting there. We will survive. Smile
Thank you Kilishan. We will survice, sure. Smile

Why the current Project version is 4.0.2 But documentation is of 3  in codeigniter.com Main website ?

Link for the manual on homepage is leading to user guide for version 3. It should be replaced with one for version 4. The working link is only with index.html ( https://codeigniter.com/user_guide/index.html ). It is not working without index.html ( https://codeigniter.com/user_guide/ ).

1. Unable to download
(link from https://codeigniter.com/docs)

2. If its not a lot work, would it be possible to release the docs in format similar to v3
( I kinda liked the drop-down menu with all links in it)

Not sure if it's already been mentioned but I feel like the github link on the front page should link to the 4.0 repo.
Codeigniter is simply one of the tools you need to learn to be a successful developer. Always add more tools to your coding arsenal!

The link https://codeigniter.com/user_guide does not work, there is a redirection problem. This one should be the main link (without index.html) for user guide I think.
