Hi folks,
I'm trying to get to grips with Ci4 usinng working code from version 3 . One of the
tasks I have is to produce a pdf from a query . In CI 3 I'm using fpdf library with
easytables addin for the task . I cant seems to get it working under CI4 though. I'm using
composer to install the fpdf library but from there I'm lost on how and where to install
the easytable addin. I can provide the working example from the CI3 I already have but in
general this is : install fpdf and easytable under libraries folder (merged in fpdf folder) , create
a file exfpdf.php in libraries folder with the constructor of the class (it includes the fpdf files) , then
in my controller I create the data from the model and pass them to a view that contains the code to
produce the pdf . I'm lost doing the same task in CI4 though, does anyone have a working example
as to how you use an external library in CI4 ?
