Myth:Auth users table name

I thought i could rename my users table and change the value of "protected $table" in "myth\auth\models\usermodel" from "users" to "auth_users" so as to have all the mythauth tables in a bunch but it doesnt work, it still insists on using the "users" table. Is there something else I need to change. I cant find any other reference to the keyword "users" anywhere in the mythauth code.
