How can one get the name of a database using CodeIgniter 4? Can you provide a step-by-step tutorial or example of how to achieve this using CodeIgniter 4?

CodeIgniter does not have anything like that. But you should be able to use like MySQLi DATABASE() to get it.
Other datbases should also have matching statements.
