phpmyadmin problem

ps you're absolutely rigth, I was afraid to do a mistake writing a password and that the problem could depend about it.

Try placing your password in the config.inc.php file sometimes that will work on XAMPP.

Thanks to all for your help... I've tried all the solution but the error remains. In local this is not a problem, every time phpmyadmin signals me that I can't reach the database I re-install all of the sql files in : C:\xampp\phpMyAdmin\sql
when I finished development i'll pass to another environment and let's see what will happen....

Just a NOTE:

If you use XAMPP you can always download and install phpMyAdmin and MySQL in XAMPP.

Yes you can download phpMyAdmin and replace it in XAMPP, I have downloaded and
replaced MySQL, PHP and phpMyAdmin and it still works fine!
