Problem with Forum Website

(This post was last modified: 12-18-2024, 07:17 AM by massimiliano1.mancini.)

I don't know if it is wanted by administrators, but the topic Netbeans Plugin and all the Archived Discussions cannot be turn as read.
I always see them with bold folder icon.
I also noticed that all the topics in that forums are with a filled heart.
Clicking on gauge -> Mark all forums read has no effect.
Thank you

Hi,
I'm on Windows 11 Pro using Chrome newest and the whole forum shows the way it should.

Can you post an image of what you are seeing?

Thank you

I'm also using Chrome version 131.0.6778.204 and the problem occurs both in windows 11 pro and in linux.

Here is a screenshot

and when I enter one of the forums with bold folder icon, this is what I find

I think this is normal, my chrome shows the same as yours.

Folders will get highlighted and bold if there is new content in them, which could happen on a database restore.

Ok, I understand that new contents are notified, but bold folders stand still even after all messages are read, i.e. click on gauge and then Mark all forums read

I took a look at the settings for all of those forums and don't see anything special about them. Without digging into it too much my guess would be that whoever created this theme didn't make a separate style for read-only posts/forums. I'll be out of town part of this week, but I'll try to look into our theme when I get back and see if I can locate the spot that does that. I've never worked with MyBB themes before, so might be a little slow going lol
