I updated MidgetForms to 0.5.1.

Get it here

Though it's not up to the 1.0 release, this release is significant.

Significant changes:

• Templating support
• Radio buttons
• Checkboxes
• File upload
• Multiple file upload support
Updated documentation

I'm not completely through revising the entire documentation, but I've done a lot. One big addition to the manual is a comprehensive list of all available methods. Almost all of them are already documented.

I've had lots of requests to include file upload support, but I haven't finished writing about all the methods involved. Until then, use the File Upload walkthrough in the manual to show you how to use this feature.

The new manual is built using dokuwiki and I'm working on porting an offline version to include with the library class.

As for the other downloads, I'm going to be posting the walkthrough-specific files separately as well as links to download IgnitedRecord.

Just wanted to mention MidgetForms version 0.6.0 is out.

I added custom validation rules and additions to the manual.

Interesting approach to form generation, seems to be promising. Also nice to see that my lib is being put to good use Smile.

I can see one upside and one downside, depends on how you look at it Tongue:
* it is easy to create a form from scratch
* seems to be harder to create and reuse a form with IR easily
(honestly, I haven't got the time to check this thoroughly for the moment, sorry)

PS: I think you could add a good behaviour to IR, so users can do like this:
Code:
$rec = $this->post->get();
$rec->mf()-> // then some MF calls on the mf object

I think you're right that this is a good way to do it. I'm glad you said this because I'm in the process of revamping the library into version 1.0 and the way I see it, proper IR functionality is what will really make the library work.

Great library.

When will MidgetForms be compatible with IR 1.0?
