CodeIgniter 1.7.0 Released

Code Igniter Version 1.7 has been released. This version contains a number of new features and enhancements, as well as many small improvements and bug fixes. For a list of all changes please see the Change Log.

This is a huge update for me. I'm glad I read this, because now I have to go back and change the auth systems and probably the validation systems of the CI apps I'm currently working on.

In fact, IMO this makes most if not all of the current Auth systems outdated. This gives us a new standard to work with. Thanks guys!

Fixed a routing bug (#4661) that occurred when the default route pointed to a subfolder.

Favorite fix by far.
