PEAR Net:Geo Alternative

Hi again everyone,

Just wondering if there was a Codeigniter alternative to PEAR Net:Geo and a method for using it. Probably a long shot because I haven't seen anything like it in the manual, but I've missed stuff on the manual before lol.

If there is no alternative, what would be the best way to use PEAR Net:Geo on Codeigniter while sticking to the standards? If at all possible, I would like to avoid the PEAR lib and accomplish the same thing.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Interesting that you just posted this message. There are some GEO Location libraries for CI available in the wiki. I have been working on some geo calculator tools that I use in CI, and I put together a brief wiki page which you can find here. Hope someone else finds it useful!
