I've found an issue while using flashdata recentley. When using flashdata I have always just used ti for short simple messages like "udate successful" or "an eror occured".
Recently I needed to set some longer messages, andthese messages contained dashes. Now I use the db to store my session data so I didnt think it would be an issue to create a longer message.
Well what happened was it kept killing my session. It took me about an hour or so to figure out why, but because I was using non alpha numeric characters it was breaking the flash data and in turn finishing the userdata update in the db. And this was causing my program to log me out everytime.
I'm not sure if there is a work around for this, or just to remember only to use alpha numeric characters.
