Database connection

my good friend is the proud owner for a cms made with code igniter. I have tried using it, but I have a crap host, hah godaddy. My dad uses godaddy and thats why he won't let me go with anyone else.

Anyways know any problems with godaddy? my database and username is gorekruk, its a test, i know i got the username password and database name right, and I uploaded the database format with a dump.sql file, hmm just making me frustrated.

I wouldn't expect to get anywhere with GoDaddy. MediaTemple is what I know and love.
