Upgrading What Should I Be Concerned About?

I would greatly appreciate any comments on upgrading CI from
and older version to its currents and what problems i may run
into.

I like to get the newest version, unzip to desktop, delete out the application folder, save my old system folder, then go ahead and pop that bugger in there and see what happens. If something goes bad just roll back to the older folder.
