Pagination library problem

Hi guys,

I'm trying to load the library pagination and always get the error by simply trying to load the library:

loading this way: $this->load->library('pagination');

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '&' in /home/ncosta/public_html/site/site002/system/libraries/Pagination.php on line 188


the only thing I can think about is that the library contains a bug

Well I downloaded the latest version of CI, and replaced the file, and seems to fix the problem the new version.
