Is Open Inviter safe?

Hi all,

I just got OpenInviter working with CodeIgniter. But before using it on my site, I was wondering whether OpenInviter is actually safe to use? I found quite a lot of posts about it when googling (none of which were negative), however I just want to be sure and was wondering whether anybody has any comments?

Naturally, this does not have to mean anything, but still...

Any thoughts?
