Redirect woes

I have codeigniter as a cpanel (http://www.mydomain.co.uk/cpanel).

When the temporary url was active (http://server.hosturl.com/tempurldirectory/cpanel) all was ok. As soon as I changed config to reflect the new domain name. It keeps getting redirect error.

Any Ideas?

Did you change the base_url in the config when moving? Are you sure the DNS record is correct? Did you try using just the ip? Does it respond to ping? Did you sprinkle magical pixie dust?
