Use MS.Access in Linux Environment

Hi,

I have code in Code Igniter in Linux Environment. I have search and get the conclusion that a programmer can't access MDB Files using PHP in Linux Environment.
The question is, Is it right ?. Or is there anyone have succeed using MDB Files in PHP Programming in Linux Environment ?.

I've never tried it, but it seems to be possible using ODBC and mdbtools. Google for it.

Mdbtools, yes it can open MDB files in Linux and even it ignore the password used by the MDB but not for using in PHP, just open and do select query and some little features. Using adodb library for linux that supports odbc, it just for Windows only.
