Screencast weblog tutorial missing information on config file: scaffolding not working

Hi

I am just trying out ci and was going thru the video tutorials and was going thru the "create blog in 20 minutes" and when it got to the part on scaffolding, I hit a snag!

I can successfully connect to db and the initial view works fine at www.mydomain.com/codeigniter/index.php/blog/scaffolding but when I go to click on either the View Records or Create New Record, the link took me too www.example.com instead of www.mydomain.com.

I eventually figured out that I needed to edit the config.php file and change $config['base_url'] to my web address.

So for us newbies that are just trying ci out, it might worthwhile to make a quick note at the beginning of the tutorial to make this change it the config.php file.

Just my thoughts.

And just as another note, I found in the docs that scaffolding is actually deprecated as of v1.6 ... that might be important info to update in the tutorial!

On the front page of Codeigniter website it says:
"You need clear, thorough documentation."

I think this philosophy needs to apply to the video tutorials as well!
