what's next after installing the crystal report xi 11?

hi, i am using jdeveloper 10g for my web application and want to generate a report (pdf, word, or excel). I installed the crystall report xi 11 on my pc, my application server is on the network, and wondering what's next i need to do in order to set up the report server. Do i need to modify the CRConfig.xml, the propertie file (txt that points the server locations). Can anyone help? Thanks.
