Using modules on CI pages

Hi
I'm new to CI and I'm asking myself about something : how can I, with CI, create modules to use on a portal-like page?

For example, displaying some informations from various controllers of my app in a same page.

There is a wiki articles and associated thread called Modular Separation that allows you have a modules directory with subdirectories for storing individual modules.
