using CI 2.0 as a library

Hello !

I refer to the post:

I would like to use CI 2.0 as a library, directly calling a Controller (from a Flex Application), without going over ./system/core/CodeIgniter.php, which loads the URI and Router Core classes, which I don't need. Can this be done in a "clean" way ?

The solution as mentioned in the thread above doesn't work like that anymore ...

Update 27.05.2011: Don't need this anymore. Using Zend DB seemed to be the better option in this regard ... Still using CodeIgniter for my frontends though :-)
