For ElisLab and CI Community : CodeIgniter On Rails?

I was amazed by how pragmatic RoR is (just like perl and phyton). Lately, i works closely with these frameworks and for my recent project, it only took one hours (or less) to me to create a full functional blog(including the minimal design stuff). How great.

And to be honest, among PHP frameworks i ever work with, these kind of pragmatism was only i found in CI. I just wondering...is there any chance, to create, somehow...(like)Rails version of CI? I just think that maybe, after the Reactor came out, Elislab have some plans to move further : creating another Community version of CI, called CoR or somethings like that, which adapt RoR pragmatism and efficieny. I will be on the first line to join to help the community branch/repo for that kind stuff!

CakePHP is pretty much a RoR clone written in PHP...

It's like a PHP version of Ruby On Rails, only without the great performance part Wink haha. I worked with CakePHP at work once, I'm glad I never had to work with any more after that.

RoR is like a "new age" of web development frameworks.

n0xie and vheissu, i can't agree more. And thanks for drop by and commented out this idea.

Off course we're about building some solid console feature (like cakephp), but lets move further, by talking about some of distunguished built-in feature of RoR, like Bundler, Active Model (API, which works with almost every datasource platform) and Active Relations. Also how about wide JS compability. What do you think guys (everyone else, you're all invited to discuss these too)?
