Hey all,
I just started using CodeIgnighter and wanted to introduce myself.
I have some PHP experience from years ago; now I'm mainly an iOS developer. I'm needing to do some backend stuff for my apps and decided to evaluate what options are out there.
Ruby on Rails seems to be all the rage with kids these days, but I decided to stick with what I know. I've played around with other frameworks out there, such as Zend, but found them to be over-bloated and have a steep learning curve. A friend of mine introduced me to CodeIgnighter and, after checking it out, I like its lightweight design.
I haven't run into any hiccups yet, but it's nice to know the forums here are active.
