On my local dev box wich is running MAMP the following works fine. On my staging and production servers it does not.
I set flashdata and reset it as long as the user is on the same page. ie, they refresh the browser, or submit a form and there are errors. Again, the flashdata is getting reset on my local dev version just fine.
exact same code on the server, the flashdata is set on the first visit to the page, but on browser refresh, or form validation fails and user stays on same page, flashdata is not reset as it is supposed to be.
I can't understand what the issue could be. I don't think it is code because that is identical. must be server, but not sure what.
