Difference between simple cache and DB cache ? Or they're the same ?

Hi. DB table has 100K rows. Experimented and got $this->db->cache_on() working as it should.


But, then just tried $this->cache->save() ... and it worked that way too.



Are they the same or i'm just something misunderstood or missed ?
