Hey guys im working on a project that depends on all the content coming from my mysql database. Im currently retrieving and rendering the data through queries. However I know that I should use caching if I anticipate heavy traffic. And Caching should increase overall performance.
However I honestly don't know how to implement "caching" into my application. This is less of a coding question and more of a concept question. I've read the codeigniter documentation on caching, but i was hoping someone can share their experience on best methods and practice and the overall problem-solving mentality I should think about when implementing this.
If it helps, the application that I am working on is something like zillow.com or cars.com where the users searches for what specifications they want on an object and the application filters through the database to find the result.
