Hello,
I've added a Live Chat one a website but I currently load them from the my root CodeIgniter folder of the Website. Do you have any tip how I could improve my source and may also at least one idea how can I increase the security?
My current file system:
Quote:htdocs->rootfolder->application
htdocs->rootfolder->system
htdocs->rootfolder->chat->addchat.php
htdcos->rootfolder->chat->recentchat.php
Well, as you may notice I have to connect to the database manually and cannot use the session, too. It's annoying because I want to one file file I have to change database information. Not two or even more.. There may be also a few security problems which I haven't figured out yet.

PSS: I also checked up CodeIgniter boards and of course the User Guide but I haven't found an tutorial / explanation which helps me.
