A Core Debug Library?
#1

Hi, all!

As we all know, debugging is a pretty important part of any code-based project. I'm quite surprised that there's not already a debugging library built into CodeIgniter. I know that there's a Spark for CodeIgniter Reactor, but I wanted to see what people thought about implementing a similar feature into the core.

I know we want to keep the core as light as possible, but I feel that an easier way of debugging (besides using var_dump() and print_r()) would be beneficial.

I'm currently learning how to use Git, and I really want to contribute to the project. I assume there's a reason this hasn't been done already, so I'd like to hear people's views on the subject. I think the profiler would be the perfect place for this.

What do you think?
