Bootstrap modifed codes

hi.. how to modify the color of navigation bar? i want to change it to transparent and make it in different CSS file without discarding the responsiveness of the nav bar. is that possible?

You would edit the bootstrap 3.1.1 - bootstrap-theme.css file and change the colors there.
