Session close

In version 3.0.0 of CodeIgniter, I'm having problem to close the session when the browser is closed. How to do? Can anyone help me? thanks

and in the config.php file look for session_expiration. Change it as follows:

$config['sess_expiration'] = 0;

I had the same problem even, when setting
$config['sess_expiration'] = 0;

Then I realised, the problem was only with my Firefox browser on Linux, no problem with Midori or Chromium on Linux or even with Firefox (or Chrome and Internet Explorer) on Windows.

I don't know what's wrong my Firefox browser on Linux, I've tried disabling all the extensions I use, but I still have the same problem.
I am running out of options: if anyone had any ideas on where to look at, I would be grateful !
