I already emailed one of the author but I'm still waiting for the reply.
Also I think one of the author https://github.com/mwhitneysdsu
I think he was here in the forum posting replies.
Hope he will read this thread.
Cuz I have also difficulty installing it right now.
I tried it before a year ago, but now I can't install it.
I already created the database modified the database.php but still not working...

Okay my download was wrong, I downloaded from github.
I now downloaded it directly from the bonfire website.
and I think this is the right thing to do.
But I encountered another error.

I got this error

-----------------------------------
Oops!
Your Web Root should be set to the public folder, but it's not. It's pointing to the Bonfire Root folder.

See below for an example of how your site should be set up in Apache:

<VirtualHost *:80>
DocumentRoot "[...]/htdocs/Bonfire_Root/public"
ServerName Bonfire.Root
ServerAlias Bonfire.Root.local
</VirtualHost>
-----------------------------------

What file should I edit to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

@solidcodes

They have announced their intentions. http://cibonfire.com/blog/bonfire_tentat...e_schedule
On their page they have a forum, why don't you ask your question there.

Sorry it took so long to get an answer to this. Haven't been on the forums lately.

That's not actually an error - and the screen tells you what's going on and one way to fix it.

The easiest way to fix it is to create a virtual host in Apache and point it the directory named public within the root of your website. This directory structure is a small security measure to keep most of the files out of the way of any prying eyes.
