no input file specified

when i am working in local its working fine bt in online it shows the error:no input file specified.
One thing is it working fine for the first time i.e when i am giving my url in the browser it shows me the index page.after that when i am clicking a link it shows this error....
any suggesstion????

check base_url in your config.php

if that gives you no joy you may need to post up a code example so people can have a better clue as to what is going on.

what urls are you using and how are you building them up?
are you using the optional htacess file?
