CAPTCHA file creation question

Is there a possibility that two users may end up generating the same file name for a captcha. The captcha plug-in uses microtime() to generate a file name. Does microtime() ensure uniqueness ?

maybe not.

but does captcha not created as stream? if you create captchas as files, you have to delete them after they are expired.
