MAMP PRO Mac 404 Error

Hi everybody,
first, i'm sorry for my english :/
It's my first time with CI and it seems rly pretty good but i can't try it because after manual install on MAMP PRO on mac OS Big Sure, i have only 404 errors in the tutorial.
i try http://localhost:8080/pages and i have 404 error.
I follow all recommandations and i had search with my best friend google. After 2 hours i give up
If someone can help me plz
