I haven't come across any specific tutorials about sending email with CI. Have you already read the user guide page about the email class? If not, that is really well documented and may help. If so, are you having a specific problem we could help with?

Are you able to send email through PHP without CodeIgniter Fred? The most common problems I've seen are simply that a server doesn't support a method of sending mail. In this case the debugger is often helpful.

I'll look at putting up a tutorial on my site... I've been thinking about it for some time.
