So CodeIgniter works in a pure PHP 5 environment?

Hello. Quick question...

I know CodeIgniter is built using PHP 4, but will it work completely fine in a pure PHP 5 environment? My hosters have now upgraded to PHP 5 only now, so I would like to know if there is anything special I need to do in CodeIgniter to make sure it works completely fine on a PHP 5 server.

Yes. There is no such thing as a mixed environment anyways .

CI works fine on PHP 4,5 and 6. PHP 6 is on the web through us, see the link in my sig.

I think PHP6 wont be mainstream for a good couple of years yet, people are still getting their head round PHP OOP design patterns
