Hello creo,

As Mikhael already said, CI is a framework. It is not a file you have to execute.
After installing you can go to your favourite web browser and open de url "http://localhost/CodeIgniter_1.5.3" (depending on the version you use).

You must have running a web server (i.e. Apache).
