I also use Outlook for my email, but I did not have any problems with Outlook email.
Both worked find, PHPMailer and CodeIgniter 4 Email Class. What did you Try? What did you Get? What did you Expect?

I'm using the Email Class of Codeigniter and the outlook Email I'm using is a company Email. I really don't know what makes this whole thing. I changed back to the button version and still does the same. I notice that the url link when it's in a link it changes after being clicked. I'll look into it but for sure it's not because of Codeigniter. I tried with a Gmail as you recommended, and it works fine. I don't know if it's because a company e-mail and maybe they can parameter links.
But to be honest since I already have the way of passing it simply as text since most of the users are using the company e-mail as a method of authentication I won't look more. I'll ask the person responsible if they have added extra security steps for links. (if that is possible cause I really don't know). |
