Does CI 4.1.1 fully support running with PHP 8.0.x?
#1

The CI 4.1.1 documentation states:  "PHP version 7.3 or newer is required"  but it does not explicitly state that PHP 8.0.x is fully supported or not.

I'm guessing that it is (or will be soon), but I just need confirmation of this for sure.   I have a bunch of webapps that will need to be upgraded from CI 3.1.11 to 4.1.1, so knowing this information with certainty is important for planning/timing purposes.

Thank you everyone!

Thank you sir for your quick response.   Is CI 3.1.11 compliant with PHP 8.0.x as well?  Or do you not have experience with CI 3.1.x?  I am asking these questions to determine whether I will need to first upgrade all of my CI 3.1.x webapps to 4.x prior to our webservers being upgraded from PHP 7.x to 8.x.   Thank you.

I think the develop branch of CI 3.1 has enabled support for PHP 8.0. For the released versions, I recall there are still bugs so you might want to wait for the next release of CI3 or you can use directly CI3 develop.
