Hi,

I'm wondering, if we can make a AdminController in CI?
Because, normally each application will have a signup/signin page, and a admin system to controller the pages which require login.

So, those are just so generic, maybe we should think about simplifier those steps

Hi. I have built a site for the first time in Codeigniter and am loving using it. I'have a great working copy on my local and have just put the site on our webservers to test. It all looks great but I am having a problem with any data I post in a form. This means I can't even log in to start to make changes.

At http://c35.servage.net/geneethics.org/contact I've inserted print_r($_POST) in there and even if you enter stuff into the text fields and hit submit, there's nothing there.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

I want to remove the index.php from the urls.
Ｉhave added the .htaccess which copy from the tutorial, and after watched the blog.mov video, i did the same, using the scaffolding to add some info into the database, the first page of scaffolding is OK, it displayed the rows in the database, but if i click the "edit", or the "create new", the index.php appears in the URL, Anyone seen the similar thing before? How can I solve the problem

Hi guys, was wondering if someone could explain this to me. Its my understand in MVC that Models should be used for data acquisition only - they should be outputting anything. My issue is what about application errors? Like say i have a get_user_by_id() function in my Model and it's an invalid id. Should i use show_error() in my Model or return FALSE and use show_error() in my Controller ?
